Locust Street Donut and Schuylkill Banks Path

This is the site of the post-Rock & Roll picnic and access to the park from Rittenhouse Square, Fitler Square and Graduate Hospital neighborhoods. If the crossing is blocked by a train, don't try to cross under or over the train, as the train could start up without warning. Go up 23rd Street to Walnut and enter the park using the stairs down from the Walnut Street Bridge. If you have a baby jogger or bike, there is a ramp leading down from both Chestnut and Market Streets and another grade-level crossing at Race Street. (Please note: if a train is blocking one of the grade level crossings, it may be blocking both, as the trains are quite long).

This map now also shows the new access to the park from Schuylkill River Park and from South Street Bridge (both of which are south of Locust Street).
